בפרוס חג הסוכות תשע"ה – 2014 מלאו לקיבוץ בחן 60 שנה. לרגל המועד, התחלתי בחודש מאי 2013 לצלם משפחות מהיישוב, הן מקרב משתכני שכונת ההרחבה והן מקרב חברי הקיבוץ. כל הצילומים בוצעו בבחן, כשהמשפחה ואני החלטנו יחד איפה ואיך להצטלם. התצלומים מוצגים כאן. הם אינם מקיפים את כל משפחות היישוב אך הם יוצרים גוף עבודה בעל משמעות.

הדימויים החזותיים של חברי קיבוץ בחן ושל נוף הקיבוץ כפי שמוצגים בתצלומים של השנים הראשונות של בחן, משתלבים היטב עם ייצוג החלוץ וההתיישבות באיקונוגרפיה הציונית.

כעת, 60 שנה לאחר הקמת קיבוץ בחן, נשאלת השאלה: איזה משמעויות משתקפות מהדימויים החזותיים של מתיישבי בחן 2014 (חברי הקיבוץ ומשתכני שכונת ההרחבה)?

In the Sukkoth Jewish holiday in 2014, Kibbutz Bahan marked its 60th anniversary. Honor of the date, I started in May 2013 to photograph families from the community, both from the community neighborhood (people who live on the kibbutz, but are not members) and among members of the kibbutz.  All photographs were made in the kibbutz, when the family and I decided together where and how to pose. Photographs are presented here. They do not cover all families in the community, but they create a meaningful body of work.

Visual images of the kibbutz Bahan members and the kibbutz landscape as shown in the photographs of the early years of Bahan fit well with the pioneer and settlement representation in the Zionist iconography.

Now, 60 years after the founding of Kibbutz Bahan, the question is: What meanings are reflected in the visual images of the Bahan residents in 2014 (kibbutz members and community neighborhood people)?
